Ordinary people change the world. We reveal their stories.

We are alive.

We believe being alive means we have the opportunity to disrupt, dismantle and rebuild systems in our culture that no longer serve the greater good. When we stop evolving, we stop living.

We are awake.

We approach every project with the intention to keep our eyes, ears, and heart open. With those conditions, the real story can emerge.

We are free.

At any given point, we have the freedom to choose differently. Like Kerouac said, life is a “vast glowing empty page.” That means it’s never too late to do what we want, and write our own story.

We are one.

We see all people (no exceptions) as part of a greater collective. Being mindful of our biases and tendencies toward judgment, we make an effort to tap into a deeper, more universal connection with every person we meet.

Let’s find your story.

As a storytelling studio, we specialize in finding your story and then crafting it into a film, photo story, or feature article.

“She was warm, knowledgeable, and entirely professional from start to finish. Bachmeyer Press’ streamlined and clearcut approach made it easy to work with.”

— Ruth Keyes, Executive Director, RSM Foundation

“Katie brings her own passion for inclusion and storytelling to the work - and pulls people together in a way that has everyone feeling heard and valued.”

— Jo Krippenstapel, Consultant to Hamilton County Board of Developmental Disabilities and Home Think Tank Facilitator

“She has such care in what she does that it didn’t feel like Katie telling my story back to me – it felt 100% like my words and my story.”

— Nicole A. Hershey, Director Of Communications, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church

“In the end, the short film Bachmeyer Press created for our program was not only beautiful, it was exactly what we needed. Thank you Katie and your team.”
